Drawstring base makes mosquito net adaptable to fit multiple things
Most baby or toddler nets on the market are shapeless with elastic around the bottom edge. You have to fight with elastic to take the net off to reach your child in a playpen. And because the elastic is one size fits all, this type of net cannot be used on a stroller or anything else because there’s no way to tighten the bottom of it for a snug fit.
With the Tedderfield Zipper Top Mosquito Net, you put the net on, tighten the drawstring, tuck any extra net and drawstrings away, and then you can use the zippers to move put your child in and take your child out of many different things.
Cover most kinds of strollers
The adjustable drawstring base enables you to cover all different kinds of strollers, including jogging strollers and some double strollers. Position the zipper where you’d like it, tighten the drawstring, tuck in any excess net and drawstring ends, and then use the zipper to put your child into a stroller and take your child out.
You may find that the zipper is in your child’s view but since there is enough net to work with, you can move the net to the get the zipper out of their way. And then just move the zipper back to where you need it when it’s time to take them out.
With the stroller pictured on the left, in the far left photo, the zipper is positioned to make it easy to put a child into and out of the stroller.
After the drawstring base was pulled tight, the excess net and drawstring ends have been tucked in around the stroller.
In the photo on the right, the net was moved up so that the zipper rests on the stroller roof rather than being in the child’s view.
In the stroller pictured on the left, again the zipper is positioned for easy access.
In addition, it is positioned so that the handle can be uncovered with the zipper pulled tight around the handle.
This allows for a better grip. Insects are unlikely to fly through this small gap.
Cover bassinets, cradles and more
The dimensions of this net are L40.5″ x W29.5” x H32.5”. Anything (bassinet, cradle, car seat, etc.) that will fit into these dimensions can be covered with this net thanks to the drawstring base.
Steps:
- Place the net over whatever you’d like to cover and position the zippers.
- Tighten the drawstring base, tuck in any excess net and the ends of the drawstring. Then use the zippers to move your child in and out.
- As noted above, if the zipper blocks your child’s view, just move the net around so it doesn’t and then move it back for easy access.
